Tyler from Waterloo Region Nature club will lead this walk at one of his favorite spots this year, Snyder Flats In Bloomingdale.

There are a variety of habitats: restored gravel quarries which is home to the regularly spotted Horned Lark, farm fields with Eastern Meadowlark, hardwood forest, aspen forest - a favorite of the Warblers, wetlands and ponds all along the banks of the beloved Grand River. The 3.6 KM loop is a gentle loop. We will  loop counter clockwise around the property ending at the Osprey Nests at the West end of Snyder's Flats Rd. Hopefully we will be able to see some early migrating waterfowl. There are no washrooms on site.

When: Sunday September 22, 2019 at 11:00 Am for approximately 2 hours.

Where: Snyder's Flats Conservation Area, 1360 Snyders Flats Rd, Bloomingdale
